Tasman Access Floors were recently involved as supply and install specialist for over 8,000 square metres of Tasman raised access floors at 30 The Bond, Sydney, Australia. This project is the first office building in Australia to commit to a 5 star energy rating and a leading example of social and environmental sustainability within commercial objectives.

Tasman Access Floors acknowledges the need to be environmentally responsive, and under new management is developing a policy on Environmental Sustainable Development. 

Tasman Access Floors has addressed the zinc whiskers phenomenon. All Tasman Access Floors systems locally manufactured understructure components are hot dipped galvanised steel to achieve lifetime protection against corrosion and are not susceptible to zinc whisker contamination.

Tasman’s range of Tascor® Access Floor Systems are an innovative range of high performance steel/concrete composite access floor panels which, when combined with a rigid understructure support, deliver a superior raised access floor system. The innovative Tascor® Systems are designed to cover every different foreseeable application, and to achieve this they offer different types of steel/concrete composite access floor systems; The Unifix® System, The Stringered System and The Freelay System. The combination of a wide range of steel grades and thicknesses, in conjunction with a range of concrete strengths provides the most economic series of performance grades, capable of performing in the most demanding applications. Maximum performance and durability for the life of the interior space can be achieved. All Tascor® Systems specifications are designed to achieve a structurally sound access floor with a greater than two times factor of safety and excellent stability, delivering peace of mind and offering the building owner or tenant flexible and efficient space today and in the future.
